Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

TradeDossier is an independent contractor-report service for homeowners in Halifax Regional Municipality, operated from Halifax, Nova Scotia. This policy explains what information we collect when you order a report, and what we do with it. Plain version: we collect the minimum needed to build and deliver your report, and we don't sell or share your information.

What we collect

We use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta, to understand how visitors use this site and to measure our advertising. It records which pages you visit and which buttons you click. Meta may combine this with information from your Facebook account per Meta's Data Policy. You can control how Meta uses this data through your Facebook ad settings. We don't use any other analytics trackers beyond what our hosting provider collects for basic operation.

Who else handles your information

Two services help us run TradeDossier. They only receive what's needed for their job:

How we use it

What we don't do

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to deliver your report and handle any follow-up questions or refunds, then delete them on request.

Your rights

We're based in Nova Scotia and handle your information in line with Canadian privacy law. You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just reply to your report email and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. One specific promise: if we ever add analytics or advertising trackers to this site (for example, the Meta Pixel), we'll update this page to say so before they go live.
